Champion Martin was making his first defense of the title he won in January, but the American could not cope with the power of Joshua, which forced the referee to stop the bout in just the second round.

Neither gave too far in the first round of the competition, but Joshua has upped the pace in the second - the Martin catch with a counter right and after the American was shot down again, Joshua was given the victory.

Joshua became the first Briton to win the Super Heavyweight Olympic gold and a world heavyweight title and now has a record of 16 knockouts from his 16 professional fights....great challenge!
